Dear Members of the Loudoun County School Board, I have lived in Loudoun Valley Estates for [X] years. I have watched this community grow, watched families move in and raise their children here, and watched those children walk the trails along Broad Run to school every morning. I have seen sports teams practice on that green space, seen neighbors meet on the paths after work, seen teachers bring their students outside to learn in the same woods our families walk through on weekends. That is not an accident. People bought into this community because this is what this land was intended for. We chose it. We preserved it. We maintained it. For years and years, this community took care of this open space because we understood its purpose — to be the shared heart of a neighborhood built around schools, families, and green space. We did not do all of that so it could be ripped apart for data centers. I am writing to ask you to accept our community’s donation of Parcel L. Nearly 13 acres of green space. Permanently preserved. For educational, recreational, and open-space purposes. Under a conservation easement that ensures it stays protected — not just for the families who live here now, but for every family who will live here after us. This is a legacy decision. The kind of open land we are talking about does not come back once it is gone. Loudoun Valley Estates has the chance to protect it now, while we still can — and we are asking you to be our partner in doing it. We are proud to make this donation, and we will stand behind this board for accepting it. Respectfully, [Your Name] [Address] (optional) Loudoun Valley Estates
